The owner, Ben, was very good to work with through the entire process. On our first meeting to discuss manufacturers and features he was incredibly helpful. His knowledge of the window lines he sells is very advanced, and he ensures you are aware of every detail of any product and how it compares to other lines. In addition to his knowledge, Ben is thorough and actively wants to help you shop to your features, budget, and satisfaction. No upselling, and no hard pushing on any given brand, or at all.
Their products are all of very good quality, even at the lower end. We opted for the middle ground for various features that appealed to us. In my pricing searches, all of Ben's product lines were a little more expensive than the low-, middle-, and high tiers at other retailers, but it's obvious that the products he sells at each of those levels are far superior than most options out there. Ben clearly only wants to sell strong, reliable products, so yes, they cost a little more.
The installation itself was very reassuring as well. The workmanship was excellent, right down to their almost-unnoticeable caulk beads. The coil wrapping for our aged exterior molding was top-notch and really cleaned up the exterior of our windows. Considering the price of the windows included this quality installation work, it was well worth the extra money.

We wanted to: (1) Convert a screened porch to a 3-season room by installing new windows/screens and matching doors, and replacing wood steps to the outside patio with a modern metal railing and non-skid steps that wouldn't rot; (2) Install two new doors in sunroom.
We learned about ClearView Construction from a neighbor who added a 3-season room to her house. She raved about her experience and we liked what we saw so we contacted ClearView for our projects. The owner scheduled a meeting with us. Right away we realized that he is extremely knowledgeable about how homes are built. We had a detailed discussion about what we wanted in these 2 projects. He listened carefully, took notes, and examined the areas to be modified, taking precise measurements. He then guided us in selecting the appropriate products. After that he further researched the products we'd discussed (some of the products had to be customized) and he presented us with costs and timeframes to receive and install these products. We signed contracts for both projects because we trusted him, because it was a pleasure working with him, and because we were impressed by his deep knowledge about construction and the products. He was generous in his time with us, often meeting with us in evenings and on weekends to accommodate our schedules. He kept in touch with us throughout the process. When he and his crew removed one of the old doors they discovered rot at the bottom of the door frame; it was necessary to remove and replace the rotting board before the new door could be installed. The owner and crew showed us the rot and they had with them the appropriate tools and materials to make the repair, and although the repair took several hours and added to our cost (only slightly), we were pleased to be able to correct the problem before it got worse. We found the owner detail-oriented. The crew was professional, courteous, friendly and respectful.
We are already thinking about our next project with ClearView!

Clearview Sunrooms & Windows installed a 14 by 16 foot patio room with all glass doors and windows. I like them since they are very nice. I would highly recommend them. The job was completed about a month ago and it took about three months from start to finish. They were very organized. They did what they said they were going to do. Everything they did was fine. The project went as per schedule. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The window replacement price was exactly as quoted. Ben made sure to check before starting to try and identify and potential problems, he found none. They called to verify the date they were coming, and they came that day. The process took a tad longer than the optimal time, but that was due to the unusually cold and snowy weather. Ben and his father worked hard and steadily, and were friendly and courteous, covering floors and other areas to keep them clean. Keep up the good work!

We just completed our second project with ClearView, a patio door replacement. Despite our best efforts to analyze prior to the work, when the old door came out, our fears were confirmed -- hidden wood rot beneath the 30+ year old slider. The project went from one day to two, and the crew dove right in to finding an acceptable, affordable, and quality remedy to the rot damage. New rim board, new subfloor where needed, some careful water control with new J channel for the siding, all with the highest quality workmanship.
The door, of course, is terrific. Slides like silk, very efficient. It was the last original portal to our home and now that it is upgraded (and repaired) I feel so much better knowing that ClearView's quality work is all around it. Surely it will give us decades of reliable use and, being vinyl and bordered by new aluminum, keep us from having to ever paint around it again.
